When the Human Genome Project was finished, Bill Clinton was presented with a CD of a compressed version of the code. There was also a copy placed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. This DVD is the uncompressed version. It is the real deal. This is not an interactive educational CD-ROM. This is the entire, pure, uncompressed code of a human genome (GRCh38) expressed in binary code.
The incomprehensible complexity that springs from such simplicity (It’s less code than Photoshop) is one of the most profound surprises of the universe.
